I have the easy version of of unassembling xbox not 360 version... under each foot remove the rubber pad there is a torx bit that needs to be removed, 4 feet, 4 total screws, under 2 stickers of bottom, there are 1 screw each, feel for the screw under the sticker and slice with a razor blade to access torx screw, 6 total screws on bottom of xbox in total thats it! pull up top of body which will split away from base, also, a flashing yellow light is an indication of an overheating unit most likely a fan isnt spinning, if your xbox sat and now you try itr and it flashes yellow after small amount of use, id say its the fan stopped up, make sure its spinning when you turn on unit. Good luck!

Read something interesting about the 360 on Gizmodo, this guy claims when he read Microsoft support his 360 serial number, they could tell he'd opened the console.

"Sort of off topic but by reading him the Y: numbers he knew that my console had been opened. I cracked it open after I got it because there was something loose inside it rattleing."

It is a mediocre description at best... i never had to take off any stickers, and i ran into problem after problem trying to figure out what to do next. this being my first time trying to dismantle a game console, my only input would be to go a little further with the description... and possibly a little more detail.
